Tourism Ireland congratulates the eight top scorers of the Shamrock Agents training program
Tourism Ireland, the official overseas Marketing office for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, recently conducted the first of a series of FAM trips as a reward to the highest scoring consultants of the Shamrock agents training program. The trip took place from the dates of the 30th September to 4th October; and included visits to Dublin, Galway, County Clare, Cork and County Wicklow.

The participants were remarkably impressed with Ireland as a new and exhilarating destination. “Ireland is a year round destination, suitable for the whole family, honeymooners, and young fun-seekers looking to enjoy their youth”, said Renji Mathew of Al Rostamani Travels. Their presence in Ireland was also greeted with joy and excitement at the possibility of greater awareness and travel from the region to the Island of Ireland. “It gave us great pleasure to give our UAE friends a Céad míle Fáilte (Gaelic Welcome) to Cork and to be their home away from home whilst they toured our county”, said Ettienne Van Verde, General Manager of Hayfield Manor hotel.
We here at Tourism Ireland welcome the initiative that these eight agents, and indeed everyone who has completed the Shamrock Agents training modules, took to learn about the destination of Ireland, and we were more than happy to provide them with an opportunity to learn about the Emerald Isle firsthand. This will without doubt assist them in providing clients with all relevant and required information in the future, helping to introduce an exciting alternative to the norm for their clientele’, and cater to their travel desires in an innovative manner.
